Great value for money, the room was perfect for our needs as a disabled person and the rest of our group, and the location was fantastic, just a short drive from the city center. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

The morning meal could have been improved with a greater variety of options.

We booked cottages 3, 4, and 5 at Murton Grange for a hen do with 15 of us. The location was great, easy to find and just a short drive from York. The cottages were well-equipped and clean, and we especially loved cottage 4, as it had plenty of space for our group to socialize together. The outside space was an added bonus. The staff were excellent with communication and very helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely book again if visiting the area. Thank you, Karen and Ben, for a fantastic experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Murton Grange and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful location. The views of the countryside were breathtaking and provided a peaceful atmosphere. The cottage itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen and communal areas were clean and had all the necessary facilities. The staff were friendly and always available to assist. Despite being a little further out from the city, taxis were easily accessible and convenient. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

There were a few minor drawbacks. The shower in the cottage was quite small, causing some discomfort during use.

Our group had a fantastic stay at Murton Grange. The location was perfect, even though it was slightly further out from the city than we expected. Taxis were easily available and the friendly staff, especially Ben, were always there to assist us. The decor and layout of Cottage 1 were perfect for our needs, and everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the beautiful setting and can imagine how amazing it would be to stay here during the summer. The outdoor and indoor spaces were great for socializing, and the BBQ facilities were a welcome bonus.

I recently stayed at Murton Grange for the third time and had a fantastic experience. The cottages were spacious and well-equipped, with separate toilets and showers. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a great addition, and the friendly and helpful staff made our stay even better. I would definitely recommend the cottages at Muton Grange for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The property was beautiful - spacious, comfortable, with great access to York and a stunning view of the Minster. the kitchen and communal areas were cozy, and there was always hot water. the maintenance staff were prompt in addressing any issues. the cottage was clean and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like kitchen roll and cling film. the location was perfect, and taxis were readily available. Ben, the host, was welcoming and always available if we needed anything. a fantastic place to stay.
